BAKERSFIELD, CA – One person was sent to the hospital after thier vehicle flipped over in a Bakersfield accident, Bakersfield Now reports.  The crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m. at the intersection of Wible Road and Motor Center Drive. BAKERSFIELD, CA – One person was killed in south Bakersfield after crashing into a tree on Thursday morning, KGET reports.  The accident occurred near the intersection of Union Avenue and Mckee Road around 6 a.m. The victim, a Bakersfield resident, was driving north at an unsafe speed when he lost control of his vehicle and left the road. BAKERSFIELD, CA – A hit-and-run collision along northbound 99 left one person dead on Tuesday night, KGET reports.  The accident occurred around 9:20 a.m. on northbound 99 near Palm Street. The victim, a 43-year-old man, was driving a white GMC Sierra when he made a lane change and struck another vehicle. The GMC struck the median and flipped over. The driver was rushed to Kern Medical where he later passed away. A 21-year-old woman was also in the car and suffered moderate injuries. The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene. BAKERSFIELD, CA – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in downtown Bakersfield on Saturday night, KGET reports. The fatal collision occurred around 7:20 p.m. near the intersection of F Street and 20th Street. The victim, who has only been identified as an elderly man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. He passed away the following morning.
