BAKERSFIELD, CA – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in downtown Bakersfield on Saturday night, KGET reports.
The fatal collision occurred around 7:20 p.m. near the intersection of F Street and 20th Street.
The victim, who has only been identified as an elderly man, suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. He passed away the following morning.
The driver remained at the scene and is not suspected of drug or alcohol use.
