Man hit by car when crossing Mines Boulevard

WHITTIER, CA- At-fault driver hit a pedestrian and fled the scene on early Sunday morning on Mines Boulevard, Keys News Network reports. WOODLAND HILLS, CA- One woman died in a crash that also injured two people on the northbound 101 Freeway around 12:28a.m., CBSLA Staff reports. CHP officer Patrick Kimball reported that the CHP arrived on the scene near the Shoup Ave ramp. They found an SUV drove onto an embankment after veering off the road, having driven at up to 90 mph before hitting it. FLORENCE, CA – A 3-year-old boy and his mother were injured in a hit-and-run in Florence on October 1st, according to KTLA. The accident occurred as they attempted to use a crosswalk at the intersection of Broadway and 80th Street. A black SUV came speeding north on Broadway when it struck the two of them. Man killed in Griffith Park hit-and-run

GRIFFITH PARK, CA – A 70-year-old man was killed on Saturday afternoon after a woman intentionally ran him over with his car, KTLA reports. The accident occurred along the 2300 block of Fern Dell Drive around 3 p.m. on Saturday. The victim was in an argument with a 32-year-old woman when he slipped and fell.
