POMONA, CA- A woman drove into a taco stand and left the scene after killing a man and injuring 12 others on Oct 14th in Pomona, abc 7 reports.
The 26 year-old woman crashed into the popular spot at 7:45p.m. near Kiwanis Park.
She drove into the tent and immediately killed 52 year-old Gilberto Cazares Payan, who was a father of four. Three other people had serious injuries while nine others had more moderate injuries.
The woman immediately drove away from the scene but turned herself in around 11p.m. She faces felonies of recklessly killing someone with a vehicle and running from the scene where she caused personal injury.
The police have kept the investigation open.
