Residence damaged by pickup in Hacienda Heights

HACIENDA HEIGHTS, CA- A motorist left a residence front yard damaged after crashing into it on Sunday, Key News Network reports.

The front yard and mailbox of 15400 East Newton Street were impacted as a pickup driver crashed through the property at 1:40a.m. The house itself was left undamaged.

When the California Highway Patrol Santa Fe Springs Station, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Industry Station and Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the call, they found the truck against a cinder wall with no driver inside.

The investigation continues through the work of the CHP.
