SANTA CLARITA, CA – A 7-year-old girl was killed on Saturday morning after falling off the back of her mother’s SUV on the 5 Freeway. The accident occurred in the northbound lanes of I-5 near Weldon Canyon Road around 3 a.m. According to ABC 7, the girl was riding in the truck of her mother’s 1999 Lincoln Navigator when she fell out of the broken rear window. LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA – A three-vehicle crash in the Sawtelle area sent four people to the hospital on Saturday, CBS LA reports.  The collision occurred at the intersection of S. Sawtelle Boulevard and W. Olympic Boulevard. No information is currently available on the cause of the crash. A 79-year-old woman is in critical condition. SANTA MONICA, CA – A pedestrian was killed in Santa Monica on Tuesday morning after being struck by a motorcyle, CBS News reports.  The crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of I-10 near the Cloverfield Boulevard entrence ramp around 3:30 a.m. Details on the crash are not clear at this time but it appears that the victim had been attempting to cross the highway on foot. SUN VALLEY, CA – Two people were killed on Wednesday afternoon after their vehicle crashed into the back of a big-rig truck. According to local news reports, the victims were travelling west on the 210 Freeway near La Tuna Canyon Road when they rear-ended a big-rig. Thier vehicle then became wedged under the trailer. Both victims died at the scene. The driver was a 57-year-old man from Covina and the passenger was a man in his forties who has not been identified. LANCASTER, CA – A driver was killed on Tuesday night following a head-on collision in Lancaster, local news reports. The victim was driving north on Sierra Highway in a 2017 Nissan Sentra when he entered the south lane to attempt to pass a 2008 Honda Pilot. The Sentra then struck a southbound 2001 Toyota 4-Runner head-on and overturned. The 29-year-old man was not wearing a seat belt and was killed at the scene. The 4-Runner also overturned before being struck by the Pilot. Its 62-year-old driver sustained moderate injuries. Two women in the Pilot were also injured. Further information is
