Teen killed, 9 injured in Porter Ranch Multi-Vehicle Crash

PORTER RANCH, CA- A 16 year-old was killed, 6 critically injured, and 3 had minor injuries in a Saturday Los Angeles car accident, ABC7 reports.

Magnus Robinson was identified as the deceased young man. When the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived at the scene, they already found the teen dead in the wreckage.

Four other young people were in that vehicle which caused the crash. The driver was a 20 year-old. All others, including Robinson, were under 17 years of age.

This vehicle was at-fault for the devastating crash. Police stated it was speeding on Reseda Boulevard and drove across the center line, smashing into two other moving cars and several parked cars.

One of the victims was a man who had two children in the vehicle with him at the time of the incident. No information was available regarding the condition of these victims.

In the other vehicle was a 30 year-old woman who was hospitalized.

The incident occurred around 5:30p.m. at 110o1 N. Reseda Boulevard, resulting in the closure of all lanes for several hours between Chatsworth Street and San Fernando Mission Boulevard.

The investigation continues to be open as police seek to discover the cause of the crash.
