Narrative
Two motorcycles crashed on I-10 on March 30th, resulting in the death one occupant and the hospitalizations of two others. Both crashes occurred around 9:30a.m. in the eastbound lanes. First, a 2021 Harley-Davidson crashed into a guardrail and overturned. Both occupants, a 51-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman, were thrown from the motorcycle. Then a second motorcycle, a 2012 Harley-Davison, overturned. This happened immediately following the first crash. From the first crash, the man died at Eisenhower Medical Center while the woman was hospitalized at Desert Regional Medical Center. The occupants of the second motorcycle were a 56-year-old man a 46-year- old woman. The man was also hospitalized at Desert Regional Medical Center but the woman did not have to be hospitalized even though she did have small injuries. The onsite investigation took about twenty minutes and all lanes in this section of I-10 were closed down during that time.
