Two were injured, and one was killed in a two-vehicle crash in the area of Interstate 8 and Second Street in El Cajon at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 18th. The driver of Traffic Unit 1, traveled off course, and crashed into a tree before hitting Traffic Unit 2. The driver and passenger of Traffic Unit 2 were treated for minor injuries at the scene. The driver of Traffic Unit 1 was taken to a hospital where she later died.
