Narrative
THERMAL, CA – A woman died Tuesday from injuries sustained in a solo crash along a roadway in south-central Riverside County.
The incident happened just before noon near the intersection of Harrison Street and 68th Avenue, which is just north of Gless Ranch Nursery.
The investigation indicates that for unknown reasons, the 22-year-old victim lost control of her northbound vehicle and crashed. The force of the collision threw her from the car and into the roadway.
Authorities pronounced her deceased at the scene. They’ve not yet released her identity to the public.
The investigation is ongoing.
