Pedestrian killed on Highway 273 in Redding

REDDING, CA – A man was killed on Highway 273 in south Redding on Tuesday night, according to the Redding Record Searchlight. 

The victim was struck in the southbound lanes of Highway 273 near Wyndham Lane around 11:30 p.m.

He was struck by a 2008 Buick sedan and became trapped underneath. He died at the scene.

Drugs and alcohol are not believed to have been a factor.
