One killed in head-on collision in Fresno

FRESNO, CA – One person was killed in a head-on collision in Fresno on Friday night, according to local news reports. 

The accident occurred at the intersection of North Fruit Avenue and Tenaya Way around 9 p.m. on Friday.

The victim was a 57-year-old man travelling south on Fruit Avenue when he lost control of his Scion and drifted into the northbound lanes.

He then struck a Nissan Altima driven by a 15-year-old. The Scion driver was killed at the scene. The Nissan driver sustained minor injuries.
