Narrative

A driver died in a car fire after the vehicle collided with a guardrail and a pole on I-880 S on March 22nd. While the 2004 Toyota drove south on I-880, it suddenly turned to the right, hitting a guardrail and a pole, before finally erupting into flames. No other vehicles were involved in the accident and the cause of this accident remains unknown. It is known that this person died while at the scene, around 11:55p.m. The victim will not be publicly identified until the family is informed.
