Merced County crash leaves woman dead

MERCED COUNTY, CA – A 55-year-old woman was killed by an accident in Merced County on Monday afternoon, ABC 30 reports. 

The victim was driving a pickup truck when she lost control and left the road near the intersection of Dickenson Ferry Road and El Capitan School Road. It is not clear what caused the accident.

She was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the truck. She died at the scene.
