Man dead after crashing car into tree on SR-76 in Rincon

RINCON, CA (SAN DIEGO COUNTY) – A man died after his vehicle collided with a tree on State Route 76 near Rincon earlier this week, according to information from FOX 5 San Diego.

The crash happened on eastbound SR-76 near Lazy H Drive just before 9 a.m. Tuesday, when the driver of a white Toyota Camry, a 52-year-old man, reportedly veered off the side of the road. The Camry then crashed into a tree.

The driver died at the scene.

No other vehicles or victims were involved in the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time. Those with information about the crash are asked to contact the California Highway Patrol at 760-643-3400.
