Narrative
Xueyuan Zhang, 39, was fatally hit by a car at 700 S. Coast Highway on Jan. 28th at 2:47a.m. Authorities tried to save Zhang but he died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle did stop and wait for authorities. The roadway was closed for about six hours while the crash was investigated and cleaned up.
