Highway 44 crash leaves two injured

REDDING, CA – Two people were injured on Highway 44 after a single-vehicle crash on Saturday night, KRCRTV reports. 

The driver, a 22-year-old man, was driving east on State Route 44 when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a tree.

He sustained major injuries and his 22-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.

Witnesses report that the vehicle was traveling at unsafe speeds before the crash.
