One was left dead after a crash involving a car and a pedestrian at Harris Road and Manon Avenue in Hayward before 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 7th. Police said the driver of Traffic Unit 1 struck Traffic Unit 1 and fled the scene before returning to the area. The pedestrian succumbed to fatal injuries. Impairment was not a contributing factor in the crash.
