Fatal crash involves an Amazon truck and a Prius in Anaheim

ANAHEIM, CA- A 60 year-0ld was killed and two people were injured in a collision in Anaheim on Wednesday, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The police department reported that the crash happened on the intersection of South Dale Ave and Orange Avenue around 8p.m.

There were two passengers in the Toyota Prius: a 20 year-old driver and a 60 year-old passenger. The passenger died at the hospital from her injuries. The driver sustained moderate injuries. It was not reported whether she was hospitalized.

The driver of the Amazon truck had slight injuries.

Authorities are considering the possibility that the crash may have occurred because the Prius ran a red light. As of now, law enforcement does not believe that anyone involved in the crash was speeding or intoxicated.
