DUI suspect causes accident in central Fresno

FRESNO, CA – A DUI suspect caused a power outage after crashing into a power pole and fire hydrant in Fresno Monday morning, ABC 30 reports. 

The accident occurred around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Fresno Street and Floradora Avenue. Details on the events leading up to the crash are not available but the driver suddenly lost control and left the road before striking the pole.

The driver was uninjured but will likely be facing charges.
