ANAHEIM, CA – An Anaheim woman will face murder charges after fatally striking a cyclist on Sunday morning, KTLA reports.
The accident occurred around 8:30 a.m. near the intersection of Jamboree Road and University Drive. The driver, a 36-year-old woman, fled the scene without stopping to help the victim, who died at the scene.
She was later arrested and charged with murder and hit-and-run. She was discovered to be under the influence of drugs and had a prior DUI on her record.
