SAN MARCOS, CA – A 29-year-old man was killed in San Marcos after being hit by a pickup truck on Tuesday, KUSI reports.  The victim was attempting to cross Mission Road around 11:25 p.m. when he was struck by a Dodge Ram 1500. JAMUL, CA – A woman was killed in Jamul on Saturday when a boat fell off a trailer on the road, Fox 5 San Diego reports.  The incident occurred on Honey Springs Road around 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. The boat trailer was being towed behind a  2000 Mazda B300 driven by a 28-year-old man when it fell off and struck a 2016 Fiat 500. The 49-year-old woman driving the Fiat suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital, where she died a few hours later. Her husband, who was a passenger, sustained minor injuries. LA MESA, CA – One person was killed on Saturday night following a collision on I-8 in La Mesa, the Times of San Diego reports.  The accident occurred around 7 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-8 near Severin Drive. According to witnesses, the victim was speeding recklessly through traffic when he lost control and hit an embankment on the right shoulder. His vehicle then rolled over and he died at the scene. Initial reports indicate that multiple vehicles were involved in the accident. It is not clear at this time when and how they became involved. No other injures
