FRESNO, CA – A pedestrian was killed in Fresno early Friday morning after being hit by a truck then dragged for four miles, local news reports.  The fatal accident occurred at the La Quinta Inn near the intersection of Cornelia Avenue and Golden State Boulevard. A big-rig truck struck a pedestrian and didn’t stop, continuing for four miles. The body was too badly disfigured to be identified. The driver has not been found. FRESNO, CA – A three-vehicle crash involving two suspected drunk drivers left a woman seriously injured in Fresno on Sunday morning. According to the Fresno Bee, the victim was a passenger in a white Chevy truck that was rear-ended by a Chevy Cruze at a red light on Chestnut Avenue just south of Highway 180 around 1:45 a.m. When the woman got out of her vehicle to talk to the driver of the Chevy she was struck by a grey Lexus and sustained significant head and upper body injuries. FRESNO, CA – A man was killed near Fresno on Saturday following a rollover accident on Highway 99, local news reports.  The victim was a 55-year-old man who was driving a silver Toyota Tacoma in the northbound lanes of Highway 99. Witnesses say that he was speeding and attempting to pass on the shoulder when he lost control of his truck and rolled down the embankment. FRESNO, CA – A man was killed in Fresno on Tuesday night as he attempted to walk across Highway 41, ABC 30 reports.  The accident occurred in the southbound lanes of 41, in the area north of Friant Road around 11 p.m. The victim was hit by an oncoming vehicle and thrown into the median. SELMA, CA – Three people were injured in Fresno County on Monday after they stopped to assist another driver who had crashed, ABC 30 reports.  The incident occurred on Manning Avenue, which had been made slippery by rain and hail. MADERA, CA – Five people were injured in Madera on Tuesday morning after a collision tore a vehicle in half, KMPH reports.  The accident occurred around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 145 and Avenue 11 in Madera. For reasons that are not clear at this time, a Honda drove into oncoming traffic and struck a minivan that was carrying six people. One victim was ejected from the Honda. FRESNO, CA – Four people were killed and three were injured in an accident on I-5 on Wednesday morning, KTLA reports.  The accident occurred as the victims were travelling in a minivan when they struck a big-rig that was parked on the shoulder. The collision broke off the right side of the van and ejected four people. Four people were killed in the crash, including two children.
