TULARE COUNTY, CA – A driver – a 74-year-old man – died when he did not negotiate a curve, causing his car to drift off the road, land on its roof, and catch fire after 8 p.m. Monday. This collision occurred on Balch Park Road near Yokohl Valley Drive. The 74-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene, while his passenger – a 29-year-old adult – was hospitalized at Kaweah Health Medical Center – for unspecified injuries. No other details are available.
