Narrative

A pedestrian’s life was claimed in a hit-and-run crash off Mission Drive in Cathedral City around 6 a.m. on Sunday, May 14th. The driver did not render aid and fled the scene. The suspect was later found and arrested. The force of the collision left the pedestrian with a significant head injury. The victim, an unidentified 78-year-old man, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
