SALINAS, CA – A 53-year-old man, who was an Uber passenger, lost his life the car he was in was struck by a driver who fled the scene near Alisal High School Sunday.
This collision happened before 11:41 p.m. in the area of Alisal High School.
The suspect’s vehicle and the Uber car both sustained major damage. The suspect was seen running away from the scene of the crash.
The Uber passenger has been identified as 53-year-old Jorge Vasquez Topete from Salinas.
