Narrative

SAN DIEGO, CA – A 65-year-old man was crossing an intersection and was struck by a vehicle, leading him to die from his injuries Tuesday. 

This collision happened around 7 p.m. at the Sports Arena Boulevard and West Point Loma Boulevard. 

San Diego Police initially said the man was riding a scooter but later confirmed he was only walking. The driver who hit him, a 62-year-old woman, had gone through the junction on the green light.
