Narrative

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA – A 10-year-old child is in critical condition, and an adult suffered serious injuries following a head-on collision Monday. This crash happened before 2:45 p.m. at the Palm Drive and Yucca Drive junction. Local Police said a driver of a white Subaru drove north on Palm Drive and then, for reasons unclear, went into the southbound lanes and collided head-on with a Toyota pickup truck.
