GRANITE BAY – A motorcyclist’s life was claimed when he collided with an SUV along Douglas Street in Granite Bay around 2:45 p.m. on Monday, May 9th. Police said the driver of Traffic Unit 1 was speeding when he collided with the driver of Traffic Unit 2, who was making a U-turn. The motorcyclist, a 22-year-old unidentified man, was ejected from his bike and suffered fatal injuries. The SUV driver was transported to a hospital for moderate injuries.
