PALMDALE, CA – One person was killed and four others were injured in a head-on collision in Palmdale on Sunday, CBS Los Angeles reports.
The accident occurred on 50th Street East, near Avenue N, around 11:25 a.m. One victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two people were trapped in their vehicle and had to be rescued by first responders. Four victims were injured and rushed to a nearby hospital. No further updates on their condition are currently available.
At this time it is not clear what caused the crash.
