CANYON LAKE, CA – One man died after he became pinned underneath his car after crashing into a palm tree on Canyon Lake South near Continental Drive around 2 a.m. Sunday. Canyon Lake fire crews said the man was ejected from his car and said they were able to free him using a Jaws of Life approach. Despite firefighters conducting life-saving measures, he suffered fatal injuries at the scene.
