Narrative
Three people were injured and one killed when a female driver ran a red light coming off 170 Freeway onto Magnolia Blvd. and crashed into another car on Feb. 26th. The crash happened around 7p.m. at 11482 W. Magnolia Boulevard, and the Honda CRV that was struck was hit with so much force that it overturned. Two people, a 35-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, had to be extracted from this wreckage. A ten month-old baby was also rescued from the wreckage, but this victim was not necessarily pinned under the vehicle like the other two occupants. The man passed away, and the woman was hospitalized with severe injuries. The at-fault female driver who was also injured is expected to pull through her injuries. The road was closed as authorities cleared the scene and investigated.
